Bad News: Eagles QB fans are in tear due to the brutal announcement

The wife of Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, who is trying to help the team recover from back-to-back losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, expressed her displeasure on social media in a comment posted on X.

“Really, it’s terrible how much nasty feedback I receive. I’m trying to spread so much love and be so positive on this app so that I can receive so much hate. It is illogical! Really, it’s depressing! SMH. Jennifer made her post on Sunday, the day the Eagles lost badly to the Cowboys, 33–13.

Jennifer’s message reaches the Birds at a difficult moment as they have faltered since their 10-1 start.

Before being severely trounced by the Cowboys in primetime over the weekend, Philadelphia fell to the 49ers 42-19 at home on December 3.

Some fans seem to be hateful against the Slays, but others have shown they support them.

Simply block them. They are not worthy of your time or effort. One X user responded to Jennifer on Sunday, saying, “Go Birds!”

“Stay strong and keep spreading the love!!!” another fan commented. This platform, our staff, and our city need more upbeat individuals like you!

The Eagles are tied for first place in the NFC East with four games left in the regular season, and they want to win the division for the second time in three years.

Despite having the same record as the Eagles, the 49ers are currently the top seed in the NFC because to their victory over them.

Because they have one fewer division victory than Dallas, the Eagles are now ranked fifth, but if they win out, they will win the NFC East.

The Eagles’ next game, which has NFC playoff implications, is against Seattle on “Monday Night Football.”
