Ameer Abdullah, a seasoned running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, is in his sixth NFL season. Although Abdullah’s time as a starter is probably over, he may still make an impact on the game in various capacities, most notably on special teams. It can be challenging for athletes of his caliber to take on a more supporting role. Abdullah was a former second-round selection, but he has made the most of it by giving his team his all. Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce finds great value in this quality.
