JUST IN: Las Vegas Raiders Pro-Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby had

Maxx Crosby, the Pro-Bowl edge rusher for the Las Vegas Raiders, had maybe the worst week of his career last week in terms of what he had to put his body through to be ready for Sunday. Even then, he wasn’t ready, but despite being listed as questionable for the Raiders’ Week 12 game against the Chiefs, Crosby played. The top pass rusher has been dealing with a knee ailment all season, and it got so bad last week that he had to be hospitalized.

Crosby stated on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast, “The Rush With Maxx Crosby,” which was taped Sunday night following the Chiefs game, that bacteria had formed in a buildup of fluid in his knee.

“We have a full week to get in, train, lift, and put our s— back together.” “I’m looking forward to it; it’s definitely needed.”So, yep, I spoke with the strength coach at the facility. I spoke with him and the rest of the team after the game. They’ve already got a game plan for me for the entire week.”So, the following three days will be spent reassembling my body and gradually building up during the week. Then, of course, Sunday — this is the one week I get to watch RedZone in the comfort of my own house, and I’m looking forward to it. “Like I said, I’m an extravagant footballer; I love it.”
