He expects the same from Alabama fans in Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Saban has not lost a game in MBS, including three SEEC Championship victories (2018, 2020-21) and a College Football Playoff National Championship triumph over the Bulldogs in 2017. Saban issued his farewell message to Alabama supporters on his weekly radio appearance on Thursday, asking for their support in a big game in Atlanta (Ga.).
Saban would improve to 5-1 against Kirby Smart with a win, and the Tide would advance to the College Football Playoffs.
“I have faith in our team…”I’m excited about doing the best job I can to help them have success in this game, and I think everybody who supports Alabama should do the same,” Saban remarked to Alabama fans on his radio broadcast before the SEC championship game.
