Cincy, Ohio Joe Burrow’s injury sidelined the Bengals for the whole season, but unlike in 2020, the franchise quarterback is still part of the organization.

This week, defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo pounded home the point on Up & Adams, saying that Burrow attended meetings with the defense.

“He’s such a football junkie that he’s sitting in on defensive meetings just to see how that stuff goes,” Anarumo stated to Kay Adams. “He’s uniquely talented.

In an attempt to help Cincinnati stay in the AFC playoff race with Jake Browning, Burrow underwent surgery on Monday. It is still unknown when Burrow will be able to resume throwing.

It’s only the most recent obstacle that Burrow has encountered in the NFL.

“It’s a great trait to have that he’s always the same,” Anarumo remarked. “The guy never falters once, ever, ever.
