Throughout the 2023 season, the Detroit Lions offensive line has been plagued by injuries. Recently, offensive guard Jonah Jackson has been out with a wrist injury and has missed the last two games. Jackson has missed all but one game since Week 6. In Week 12, the Lions were outmanned by Green Bay, allowing three sacks in a 29-22 loss. Jackson practiced fully on Thursday and might return against New Orleans in Week 13. Meanwhile, Frank Ragnow did not take part in Thursday’s practice.

Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator, is hoping for a bounce-back game from the offensive line, which would be bolstered by Jackson’s likely return. “I know our lads will respond brilliantly. It wasn’t our best game up front in the last year and a half; in fact, it was toward the bottom of the list. “They are aware of this,” Johnson stated. “I think it showed up more in critical situations.” Jared is getting hammered on some of those fourth downs and third downs. We clearly do not want any of that. We’ll take care of that right away. Green Bay deserves a lot of credit. On a short week, they had a fantastic plan.
