In this game, I can’t say enough good things about . He’s playing better than I’ve ever seen him. Some of his plays in this game were incredible. I’ll go into greater detail later, but the Bills frequently left him exposed, and he took advantage of it by pulling. On this play, the Bills had a defensive tackle over him, preventing him from pulling. He certainly wants to get to the second level on split-zone, but he has to get off the double team first. Rather than double-teaming the defensive tackle, he decides to shoulder-barge him before flying to the second level. This is not an approach that a normal person would employ.

Hurts didn’t seem to be seeing things clearly in the first half. I’m not sure, but he made some unusual choices. I think there were occasions when he should have given it up, but he didn’t, and here is another example. This isn’t Hurts’ first interception of the season, and it’s an area in which he needs to improve. I don’t want the Eagles to abandon RPOs because they are such a terrific fit for this offensive, but it is something they need to work on .

Despite the large victories, some critics object to the low caliber of the opponents. Nine of the eleven games have been against teams who are currently under.500. The only exceptions are the 49ers and Eagles. As a result, it’s reasonable to wonder how good Dallas truly is. For long of the season, it appeared that the Seahawks would be a good challenge for Dallas, but Seattle has lost three of their last four games and comes to AT&T Stadium with a 6-5 record. That is a winning record, but even if the Cowboys beat them, they will have only faced two teams that are still above.500
