CINCINNATI (AP) — The Bengals will be without Joe Burrow, but they hope to have some key players back for Sunday’s game against the Steelers.

Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Sam Hubbard (ankle) have both been ruled out of the last two games. Cam Taylor-Britt left the Ravens’ Week 11 loss with a quad injury.

“We’ll see on a lot of those guys,” said Bengals coach Zac Taylor.

Higgins, Hubbard, and Taylor-Britt are scheduled to practice on Wednesday. With a vital AFC North showdown against the Steelers approaching, it’s a step in the right way.

The Bengals have a 5-5 record this season. They’ve dropped their last two games and are 0-3 in the league.

UPDATE Higgins wasn’t dressed appropriately for practice, but Hubbard was.

The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 12 with one big question mark: can they survive with Jake Browning at quarterback? Browning will make his first career start against the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend after star Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury.

Since Burrow’s injury, many have written off the Bengals’ chances of making the playoffs. Browning, on the other hand, stays confidence in himself and his ability.

“I’ve won at every level I’ve played at.” “I suppose there’s something to be said for that,” Browning remarked. “I’ve always been referred to as a sneaky athlete.” I’m not sure where the stealthy part comes from… I’ve always been correct. “I’ve never been afraid to let it all hang out,” says Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
