The Chicago Bears’ Matt Eberflus confirmed on Saturday that running back Khalil Herbert will be activated from injured reserve.
Herbert, 25, missed Chicago’s previous five games after hurting his ankle against Washington in Week 5. At the time of his injury, he led the Bears in rushing with 272 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
Darrynton Evans was cut on Thursday, making Herbert available for the 53-man roster.
