CBS PHILADELPHIA – According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean is expected to be placed on injured reserve for the second time this season after being diagnosed with a Lisfranc sprain.
Dean departed Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with a foot injury and did not return.
According to NFL Network Dean will consult with a foot specialist to determine his next steps.

How about this for a scenario: The Philadelphia Eagles would not object if Hurts put on some AirPods, relaxed, and listened to all 50 songs in his set for 4 hours, 14 minutes. Anything to keep him off his feet.
Hurts will be able to take a knee on the pitch for at least one week.
Hurts has been handicapped by a damaged left knee for at least three games – when exactly he was injured, Hurts won’t disclose – and it has limited his ability to sprint.
It’s almost as if it doesn’t matter. Yes, the Eagles want Hurts to be as near to 100 percent as possible when the season resumes Nov. 20 against the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. Hurts, who is generally reluctant to discuss his health, did admit that the off week couldn’t have come at a better time. He’s bruised and might use a break.
