shocking injury news :Eagles tight end have been reportedly placed on IR with forearm fracture

UPDATE: According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Dallas Goedert suffered a fracture in his forearm and will get an MRI on Monday to see if there is any further damage. Goedert is thought to be a contender for injured reserve.

If Goedert is placed on injured reserve, he will miss at least the following four games (the bye week does not count towards returning from IR):

Kansas City Chiefs, Week 11
Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills
Week 13 versus the San Francisco 49ers
Dallas Cowboys, Week 14
If he is healed before then, he will be eligible to play in the Eagles’ Week 15 away game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Just not a good sign for the Birds, who also had to contend with Goedert’s absence last season.

James Harrison beefed with Commissioner Roger Goodell

At tight end, the Eagles have Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra (who missed Week 9 due to concussion protocol), and Albert Okwuegbunam. E.J. Jenkins was also recently added to the practise squad. Options aren’t that inspiring.

Could the Eagles sign old pal Tyree Jackson off the New York Giants’ practise squad? Dan Arnold is unsigned after attending Philadelphia’s training camp. Could the Eagles go the veteran way and test the waters with, say, Cameron Brate? Can they persuade Rob Gronkowski to return from his second retirement? Richard Rodgers (AKA Dick Rod) is always on the move!

We’ll see what happens.

The Eagles’ injuries against the Cowboys are piling up, with tight end Dallas Goedert the latest to leave the game. Soon later, the team stated that Goedert was questionable to return due to a forearm injury, and he was finally ruled out.

Goedert had three catches for 50 yards through three quarters, including a spectacular 28-yard reception. He’s a major mismatch for defences and always comes up big on late-down plays, so the TE’s loss will be missed.

With Goedert out, Jack Stoll takes his place. Grant Calcaterra is still in the concussion protocol following the Commanders game in Week 8, therefore Albert Okwuegbunam is the only other tight end on the roster. Okwuegbunam has appeared on
