St Helens have launched their new home shirt for the 2024 season as they take the Red Vee forwards with what they’re describing as a more ‘modern look’.

Saints had a mixed season under new head coach Paul Wellens in 2023, it started off with the incredible victory down under in Penrith before a slow Super League start. Come the back end of the season though the Saints were firing as normal and they’d have been headed for Old Trafford if not for a moment of Sam Tomkins magic.

Despite the success of becoming World Club champs down under and placing third in Super League, the Red Vee are a team who have come to demand success on a higher level particularly given their four consecutive Grand Final wins leading into the 2023 campaign.

They’re set to go again in 2024 entering a new era without their iconic captain James Roby, the hooker having hung up the boots after an incredible career, with Daryl Clark set to step into the fray. Their new signing from Warrington will do so in a brand new kit with the club having launched a ‘new, modern look’ for the upcoming season.

Saints confirmed the release of their new home shirt with the following statement: “We are proud to reveal a new, modern look for 24 with our brand-new Home Kit.

“In partnership with O’Neill’s Sportswear, our traditional white shirt with a Red Vee continues into the 24 season, but with brand-new features giving it a sharper, modern look, and a more comfortable fit

“The shirt is predominantly white with a watermarked shard design to the front and back shoulders, both sleeves, and the lower torso.

“The shirt features a striking, brand-new elasticated knitted crossover collar in red with a white stripe running through it. The cuffs are also elasticated giving greater wearer comfort.

“The Red Vee is a subtle two-tone design which again adds to the modern feel and is a feature never before seen on a Saints shirt
