The Miami Heat’s new coach has been dismissed as a result of……

Miami gave Boston a little bit of hope after the Celtics won Game 4 and now there are key players in doubt for Game 5 at The Garden on Thursday.

Gabe Vincent has been instrumental in the Heat’s offense, shown by his 29-point haul in Game 3 and 17 points in Game 4.

The guard has been listed as questionable for Game 5 after sustaining a left ankle sprain.

Vincent rolled his ankle during the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s contest and went to the locker room, before briefly returning to the game.

“Gabe Vincent is doing all he can to try to play, will try to play if possible on the sprained ankle,” 35-year Miami Herald veteran Barry Jackson tweeted. “Decision tomorrow. Lowry obviously the only other PG on roster, though Jimmy, Bam, Caleb can get Heat into offense. Not having Herro and Vic hurts in this & other ways, of course.”

As for Tyler Herro, he has been cleared to resume basketball activities, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said on Tuesday.

“He is starting the process,” Spoelstra said. “… He does have the brace off and he’s able to do ball handling and some shooting.”

The 23-year-old has been out since Game 1 of the first round of playoffs against the Bucks (April 17) when he broke his right hand.

He had surgery on April 21 and at that time, was expected to miss a minimum of six weeks.

Spoelstra said on Tuesday there’s no timetable for Herro’s return to the lineup.
