Leicester City forward Hannah Cain has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Cain has spent the last three seasons with Leicester City after joining the club from Everton in summer 2021. The forward has had to overcome some tough times as a Leicester City player with Cain battling back from a couple of long-term injuries.

The forward enjoyed her best season so far in a Leicester City shirt 2022/2023. Cain made 14 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she scored two goals. The player will now be keen to build on the momentum of last season after signing a new deal at The King Power Stadium.

After her contract extension was announced, Cain said “I’m over the moon to have signed an extension. It feels like home here, so it was an easy decision. I’m excited and looking forward to what’s instore for us next season.

“The Club’s morals and values align with mine and that was a strong pull for me to stay here. It genuinely feels like home, so it was easy to commit my future to the Club.”Cain Leaves Everton Women

Cain joins CJ Bott and Missy Goodwin in signing a contract extension with Leicester City this summer.
