Following an unfortunate setback, Thilo Kehrer, a defender for West Ham United, has expressed his support for teammate Lucas Paqueta.

Paqueta, who was holding his shoulder, was replaced against Chelsea after just 14 minutes of play.

The international player from Brazil has updated his supporters on his fitness on Instagram.

Paqueta has now begun to settle into the Premier League after a sluggish start to life at the London Stadium.

At the beginning of the month, he had a fantastic game against Newcastle and scored his second league goal of the year.

This season, Paqueta has drawn significant criticism; Chris Sutton called him a “massive disappointment.”

Paqueta’s lacklustre performance at West Ham this season is not unique to him; the club-record £51 million price tag may be weighing heavily on his mind.

Paqueta at West Ham does not now need to be missing games due to injury.

The Hammers will need him to perform at his peak if they want to avoid the relegation dogfight, and he’s finally starting to find his groove.

Following the injury report, Kehrer messages Paqueta, a teammate at West Ham.
The 25-year-old shared his current shoulder condition in an Instagram post today.

“Just stopping by to thank everyone for their messages. Another scare, same shoulder, different ligaments, but at least the worst of the issues are over!” stated Paqueta.

Spurs aren’t in the best form, and David Moyes will want to take advantage of their recent struggles.

It’s not been confirmed yet whether Paqueta will be available for that game, and if this is an injury he can play through.

He’s scored nine league goals in his last two seasons, and if he continues that trend, he’s got a very exciting end to the campaign coming up.
