We are excited to have Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey join us as our exclusive columnist. Every week, he will provide his thoughts on the club’s most talked-about topics.

Despite being open to a move prior to Unai Emery’s arrival, John McGinn will spend “the rest of his days” with Aston Villa, according to Ty Bracey.

West Ham United expressed interest in the Scottish international, who was reportedly feeling a little uneasy at Villa Park following his bad performance under Steven Gerrard, according to The Athletic on October 24.

Even though he is now among the Spanish team’s most frequently utilised players and the captain, it appears quite improbable that he will leave at this time. Although Villa supporters now find it impossible to picture their team without the 29-year-old, McGinn’s scepticism was probably greatly influenced by Emery’s arrival on the team.

Although McGinn would have probably stayed at Villa Park either way, according to Bracey, he is now expected to stay at Villa for the majority of the remainder of his career.

Bracey remarked exclusively to Villa News, “Under Gerrard, we were playing frustrating football. Before Emery took over, we weren’t achieving the desired results and were heading for relegation.

Although he wasn’t comfortable, I don’t believe he would have had the choice to leave. John McGinn definitely stays at Villa for the rest of his life, or at least until the conclusion of his career, in my opinion.

“He still has a good few years left in him.”
