Following their neck injuries on Thursday during the preseason game, two Philadelphia Eagles players were carted off the pitch, while the team said that both players were able to move all of their extremities.

After making a reception in the third quarter of a game against the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland seemed to fall on his neck or shoulder area. He was stretchered off the field.

Cleveland, 25, was surrounded by players from both teams before being wheeled off the pitch.

“QB Tyrie Cleveland is sidelined due to a cervical strain. All of his extremities are movable,” the club tweeted.

As he was being removed off the pitch, he offered a thumbs up.He was able to move all of his extremities, according to the team.

In 2020, Cleveland was picked by the Denver Broncos. He was added to the Eagles’ practise squad in January. Ojomo was chosen by the Eagles in the current draught.

During the Eagles’ NFL preseason home game versus the Cleveland Browns, the event took place. In the third quarter, Cleveland made a big catch from quarterback Tanner McKee and fell hard on his head and neck area.

After the play, Cleveland lay on his stomach for a few minutes as the team’s medical personnel cared to him.

Cleveland was taken off the pitch and placed on a stretcher by the Eagles medical staff.

As Cleveland was being removed from the field, players from both teams could be seen congregating around the cart.

Cleveland was declared out by the Eagles due to a neck injury in a social media message, however they added that he had “movement in all of his extremities.”

 

As the two tried to tackle Browns quarterback Kellen Mond in the fourth quarter, Ojomo was also carted off the field on a stretcher after being hit in the neck by teammate Tristin McCollum.

Ojomo, who the Eagles selected in the seventh round of this year’s draught, waved and gave a thumbs up as he was wheeled off the pitch.

Ojomo suffered a neck injury, thus the Eagles ruled him out as well, stating that he also had “movement in all of his extremities.”

The game finished in a draw, 18–18.
