According to Fichajes, Newcastle United and Manchester City are both interested in signing Eduard Spertsyan. Both Premier League clubs have been keeping an eye on him and are ready to compete for his services.

Spertsyan rose through the levels at Krasnodar before making the first team in the summer of 2021. Since then, the 23-year-old has grown from strength to strength. He has appeared in 88 matches for the Russian club and has contributed to 48 goals.

During the current season, the attacking midfielder has appeared in 13 games and has played over 1,000 minutes. He has contributed to the achievement of eight goals. His outstanding performances in recent seasons have garnered a lot of attention.

Spertsyan’s contract with the Russian club expires in the summer of 2026, but he is anticipated to leave in the near future. The 23-year-old wants to play for a prominent European club, and Manchester City and Newcastle United are also interested.

Both Premier League clubs are prepared to compete for the services of the Armenian star, who is expected to cost €13 million. Manchester City are constantly looking for young players who can help them maintain their dominance in the long run, and Spertsyan appears to be a good fit for the club.

Manchester City would want to have a backup for Kevin De Bruyne, who is already 32 and suffering from ailments, and adding the Armenian offensive midfielder will undoubtedly aid their cause. He may eventually succeed the Belgian international.
