The 20-year-old said in an interview with the Daily Record on Wednesday (October 11) that he doesn’t know who will be the next manager of the Gers and that it has “nothing to do” with him.

Since Beale approved the Scotland U-21 international’s loan move to Hearts over the summer, there have been calls for the Light Blues to summon him back, but the midfielder claimed that a return to Glasgow is not currently on his mind.

“My goal is to win over Steven Naismith, and if I can, I hope to continue being selected for the 21s. I can only manage my own form, so I must try my best and wait to see what occurs.

Being out on loan and the fact that the players likely aren’t completely aware of what is going on behind the scenes mean that Lowry knows very little about the upcoming Rangers manager.

As the job interviews are anticipated to go till the end of the week, the scenario will be changing constantly.
