After suffering an injury against Aston Villa, Rayan Ait-Nouri decided not to travel with Algeria during the international break.
The left-back was scheduled to join his team for the upcoming matches against Egypt and Cape Verde.
However, the 22-year-old was not able to play the entire match versus Villa on Sunday.
At Molineux, he was removed from the game during the half and replaced by Matt Doherty.
It comes out that due to Ait-Nouri’s concussion versus Villa, Wolves determined that he was not healthy enough to travel.
Ait-Nouri will not be joining the Algerian national team.

According to reports, Wolves medics have told the national team that the player cannot travel due to tight rules.
In addition to missing a training camp in June, Ait-Nouri’s absence is a setback for manager Djamel Belmadi.
Ait-Nouri missing out on playing for Algeria is regrettable.
However, since they are simply friendly, this is actually a fantastic opportunity for Ait-Nouri to take a brief break.
He has been actively connected thus far this season with Ait-Nouriwho obviously has a lot of affection for him.
The £10 million star has appeared in each of Wolves’ first 10 games, appearing in 643 minutes overall.
Officials and coaches for the Wolves will presumably be somewhat appreciative that he is sticking behind.
