After Cardiff City said his absence would last months rather than weeks, Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out of Wales’ ‘ final three European Championship qualification games.
The 32-year-old Wales captain hasn’t played since last month after a freak accident during training resulted in him injuring his knee.
Rob Page, the manager of Wales, had accepted the loss of his captain for the crucial match against Croatia the following week in Cardiff, but now he must rule him out of the remaining group matches against Turkey and Armenia.
Aaron won’t require surgery, but he’ll be sidelined for at least 8 to 10 weeks. It will take another 12 weeks if he needs surgery, according to Cardiff manager Erol Bulut.

They subsequently suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road in Turkey before receiving a reprieve with a 2-0 victory in Latvia. Wales still has home games against Croatia and Turkey, as well as a trip to Armenia, to complete their schedule.
The top four teams—Croatia, Turkey, Armenia, and Wales—are separated by just three points, and they must win all three games to ensure automatic participation for the finals in Germany in 2024.
Brennan Johnson, who was just signed by Tottenham Hotspur, was also lost to Page for this camp due to a hamstring injury.
