Sander Berge discusses his move from Sheffield United to Burnley.

The midfielder arrived from Sheffield United, who won automatic promotion from the Championship alongside Vincent Kompany’s men last season.

Despite the similarities in quality, Berge admits he had to adjust to a new manner of doing things at Turf Moor.

“It might not seem like a big step when you go from one team to another, but there’s a huge difference to how we do things here compared to where I was before,” the youngster stated.
It takes some time to become adjusted to all of the principles, and the Premier League’s intensity, as well as overall quality, differs from the Championshi” With each day and each week everyone is here and putting in the right work and the right mindset, that will improve everyone a lot.”

Berge will be looking to secure a starting spot against Newcastle United in the league after scoring his first goal for Burnley in the 4-0 Carabao Cup thrashing of Salford City in midweek.

The Clarets are failed to win their first league game of the season, with only one point from their first five games.
Despite the difficult start, Berge is optimistic that his new side is on the right track.
“In the Premier League, you can never be complacent or satisfied when you’re losing games.” “You can only look forward and build day by day,” he explained.
“Every game will be difficult and will require different things from us, but we will need to improve a lot to get the results we need, but we are on the right track.”
