Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is concerned that Anthony Gordon is only one yellow card away from receiving a one-match suspension.

The former Everton winger has been one of the Magpies’ standout performances this season, with a goal and an assist in yesterday’s record-breaking 8-0 Premier League win over Sheffield United.

Given Gordon’s magnificent performance, it’s easy to forget that he didn’t start the game. Harvey Barnes was given his second United start but left after 11 minutes due to a toe injury.
