Aston Villa ‘willing to go all out’ for Real Madrid big-name players

According to Defensa Central, Aston Villa is ready to ask Dani Ceballos to double his current salary to join Real Madrid.

The Madrid newspaper reported on its website on Wednesday [September 20] that Villa will “do everything possible” to sign Ceballos in the January transfer window.
In addition to offering Ceballos a salary of 6.9 million pounds a year (8 million euros), Villa is also willing to pay Madrid up to 15.6 million pounds (18 million euros) for this midfielder.
The report adds that Carlo Ancelotti is a fan of the 27-year-old and hopes he will stay in the Spanish capital.

A regular in Madrid

Thanks to the European football they can offer – hopefully after Christmas – Villa are now a more attractive proposition for big players.
Not to mention the fact that the Villans pulled off a coup by persuading Unai Emery to take power just less than a year ago. Moussa Diaby and Pau Torres arrived in the summer with big money, and it looks like Ceballos will be next at Villa Park if Emery gets his wish.

The 13-cap Spain international has become quite famous with the Premier League audience after being loaned to Arsenal.
Ceballos played well at Emirates Stadium but then returned to Real Madrid, where he played regularly last season.

He has not played so far this campaign, but that is due to injury problems suffered in pre-season from which he is close to recovering.

Given that Ancelotti has faith in Ceballos at a club of Real Madrid’s caliber, it’s fair to say that Villa fans will be excited by this latest transfer news.Monday Musings: Dani Ceballos deserves better, same old Hazard, and should clubs pay players to leave? - Managing Madrid

In other Aston Villa news, the Villans appear to have received some bad news ahead of facing Chelsea next weekend.
