Marsch was fired by Leeds in February, and four other people have subsequently taken his place. Sam Allardyce is followed by Michael Skubala and Javi Gracia. Daniel Farke, now. It is a disastrous decline from grace.

Angus Kinnear: Leeds made an approach to hire Madrid icon Raul
It undoubtedly would have thrilled fans. Unquestionably impressive in the world of Madrid B-team management, and a true legend in Spanish football. His team came in third place last year in Spain’s third division.
He is working quite hard. But there is still discussion. Does he have what it takes to succeed Carlo Ancelotti as Madrid’s next manager, or does he need to first land a post in the top flight to establish himself?
Leeds might have been a good choice. Raul, however, had a valid point. Last season, Leeds was too much of a political hot potato to take on, risking its budding image within Real Madrid’s safety net.
