According to the Football Observer, the three Magpies are worth more at present than the Belgian international  who won the Yashin Trophy last season, being named the best goalkeeper in the world for his performances in between the sticks.

Tonali, Isak and Guimaraes have all been valued at €60million whereas Courtois is worth slightly less at €50million.

Joining the Los Blancos shot stopper in ranking just below the Toon trio are players such as Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry, Manchester City’s John Stones and Arsenal new boy Jurrien Timber.

Tonali has received rave reviews following his move from AC Milan this summer, Eddie Howe himself called the midfielder an ‘exceptional talent’ once the £55million move had been completed.

He has featured in all four Premier League matches so far this season, scoring once on the opening day during a 5-1 demolition of Aston Villa.

Isak is the same having played a part in all of the opening games. This is the season where many expect him to kick on following his promising debut campaign, he has two goals to his name so far.

Of course, Guimaraes also has the same amount of appearances to his name this season. Who would have guessed that the three most valuable players would all be regulars, eh?

What next for Newcastle?

It has not been the perfect start to the campaign overall for Newcastle with Howe’s side tasting defeat in three of their four matches, though it has to be said that they have endured a tough run with Manchester City, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion coming one after the other. Courtois: You never expect to go through something like this, but I will come back stronger | Marca

Despite the losses there have still been plenty of promising signs, and there is an expectation that the Magpies will kick start their season after the international break.

All eyes are on Howe’s men this campaign.
