Swindon Town will aim to enter the promotion race early in the new EFL League Two season.

The Robins finished in 10th place in the previous campaign but ultimately failed to provide the stability needed to challenge for a play-off spot.

The fourth-placed team underwent a change of manager in the second half of last season when Scott Lindsey left the club to join Crawley Town, with Jody Morris appointed instead.

After being unable to compete for promotion, Morris was fired in early May, with former Newport County manager Michael Flynn taking over at the County Ground after he left Walsall.

The 42-year-old currently has plenty of first team members out of contract next year, with Football League World listing players who will need to impress the Welshman to stay at the club in the future. . Conor Brann is a young goalkeeper who joined Swindon Town in September 2022 after being released from Galway United, part of the Irish League First Division.

The 20-year-old has impressed at Limerick and Galway at Under-17 and Under-19 levels, which has earned him a place in the Republic of Ireland national youth team.

Brann has yet to appear for Robins since moving out, and he is expected to be released in June 2024.
Next is left-back Reece Devine, who grew up in the Manchester United youth team.

The Stourbridge-born defender was on loan at St Johnstone and Walsall before joining Swindon Town on a permanent deal in July 2022.

Devine’s progress at the Wiltshire-based club was halted in March this year, with a hamstring injury keeping him out for four months. Defender Frazer Blake-Tracy has been added to the list of out of contract at Swindon Town.
