Leeds United get potential boost ahead of Millwall clash as Gary Rowett has revealed injury concerns for two of his key players.

Leeds United have received a significant boost ahead of their critical Championship match against Millwall on September 17, as manager Gary Rowett has revealed injury concerns for two of his key players.

Shaun Hutchinson and Joe Byran, both vital players for the South London club, could be missing after the latter was left out of the Lions’ team that drew 1-1 with Birmingham City over the weekend.

Speaking after the game, Rowett told the Southwark News (3 September) that Bryan will be touch and go ahead of the clash against Daniel Farke’s men after the international break.

He said: “He felt his groin on Tuesday, so he’s probably going to be touch and go till the back end of the international break.

Millwall’s other injury concern is captain Hutchinson, who was withdrawn after half an hour at St. Andrew’s after picking up a calf injury. Rowett said: “I think he just felt his calf which is disappointing because I think you could see the solidity with him in there.
