Transfer deadline :Aberdeen fc beat Celtic and Rangers for signing young player from Hearts

It’s all over for another year after a packed deadline day.

Brendan Rodgers has stepped it up over the last week at Celtic and has managed to get three in the door. Luis Palma is in Glasgow for five years while Nat Phillips is there for five months, but his Liverpool loan could be extended. Paulo Bernardo put the icing on the transfer cake with a season-long loan deal from Benfica, and an option to buy included. The Irishman’s quest for a left back, however, seems to have been left unanswered while Sead Haksabanovic has moved to Stoke City on loan.

Rangers did their business early as Michael Beale said. Glen Kamara has already left for Leeds while a loan move for Ben Davies was rejected after Stoke City’s offer fell short. Harry Souttar was on the Light Blues radar but he won’t be joining brother John in this window at Ibrox.

Aberdeen delivered deadline day delight by signing Stefan Gartenmann on loan from Midtjylland as Barry Robson bolstered his defensive options. Meanwhile Hearts and Hibs had no new arrivals on the final day of business.

Mo Salah is staying at Liverpool for now. But Saudi money doesn’t just talk, it screams and they’ll have another two weeks to up their £150million offer for the Egyptian.

And just like that, the transfer madness is over for another summer.

It’s gone by in a flash but the autumn has been waved in by the transfer window slamming shut after a busy summer for all of the Scottish Premiership. A major move occurred early doors in the dugout as Ange Postecoglou swapped places with Brendan Rodgers in the Celtic hotseat, and Lee Johnson has been sacked by Hibs so won’t get to develop summer imports like Dylan Vente further. Kilmarnock have announced the signing of Andy Dallas on a season-long loan deal from Barnsley.

The Rangers academy graduate has spent time at Cambridge, Weymouth, Solihull Moors and Chesterfield before moving to the League One side on loan this summer.

He will now spent the season at Rugby Park.Celtic transfer news: Paulo Bernardo joins on loan from Benfica on Deadline Day | Football News | Sky Sports
