Here’s your noon transfer summary of Bluebirds news on transfer deadline day.
Norwich City replaces Kieffer
The City of Norwich has limited construction delays.
It is reported that the Canaries are interested in signing Kieffer Moore before the deadline, while Championship rivals Cardiff want to add striker options following Josh Sargent’s long-term injury prognosis.
We understand Cardiff are closely monitoring Moore’s situation and would like to see the Welsh striker return to the Welsh capital and manager Erol Bulut himself has said so.
Moore had a wonderful time in the Welsh capital and he and his wife have settled here with great friendship all around them.
The Welsh striker is said to be keen to return to the Bluebirds, where he became the first player in a decade to score 20 goals.
But that has been done in times of Covid, Moore will enjoy the prospect of scoring in front of a passionate crowd at the Cardiff City Stadium.
That, coupled with the moves the Cardiff and Bulut management have made over the summer, could have an impact.
However, the fact that Cardiff are crippled by their inability to pay player transfer fees means they have to rely on Bournemouth to approve a loan.
We understand that Cherry wants to pay a fee.
Cardiff should at least be commended for trying to bring Moore back from the start, which is testament to the real ambition they face this summer.
They also have a good relationship with Bournemouth so that could help.

Signed by Jonathan Panzo
Cardiff City have completed the loan signing of Jonathan Panzo from Nottingham Forest and the defender has revealed why he chose the Bluebirds amid interest from rivals Swansea City.
Cardiff have wanted to further strengthen their centre-back throughout the summer, with Panzo having been a target for some time.
The termination of Jack Simpson’s contract on Thursday night also aggravated the situation.
And the Bluebirds have had to fight to their teeth for the 22-year-old centre-back, while rivals Swansea in the South Wales derby have also shown keen interest in signing the player.
However, after meeting his manager in person on Thursday afternoon, Panzo revealed his decision had become clear.
The former England Under-21 international said of his signing: “I’m very happy to be here and to finally cross the finish line.
I can’t wait to get started.
“I chose Cardiff City because of the manager, the team and I feel it is definitely an exciting project.
I want to show the fans what I can do and help the boys shine.
Panzo made 29 league appearances for Coventry City last season, helping them reach the play-off final.

Outings are always possible
There is still prospect for upcoming releases today.
We are told there is interest in Andy Rinomhota and Romaine Sawyers and both could still leave ahead of time.
But there’s nothing concrete about that yet.
The club are also hoping to secure a loan deal for Kieron Evans before the end of the day, so keep an eye on this period on that page.
