Nottingham Forest had an extremely busy deadline day as Steve Cooper welcomed a host of last-gasp signings and sanctioned a few outgoing transfers at the City Ground.
The Reds were among the busiest Premier League clubs as the market slammed shut for the next five months. Cooper used every last second of the sales to try and strengthen his squad at the City Ground. While Nottingham Forest also trimmed some of the excess from his side.
It was a busy market all summer at the East Midlands side, in fact, as Cooper bid to build on retaining the Reds’ top-flight status. He led Nottingham Forest to a 16th-place finish in the club’s first Premier League season since 1998/99. Yet they only won nine and drew 11 times
Nottingham Forest sought to further safeguard their status with a flurry of incoming signings throughout the transfer window and deadline day. Cooper used the market to improve their options in several positions, such as Matt Turner in the net and Anthony Elanga on the wing.
Some players also bid goodbye to the City Ground like Sam Surridge and Steve Cook right to the window closing. So, with that in mind, here is every incoming and outgoing transfer that Nottingham Forest agreed on deadline day and every signing Cooper secured this summer
