The 23-year-old made 25 appearances for the club having joined the Danish top tier side in 2022.

Mukairu has also played in Turkey for Antalyaspor and spent time on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht.

The move means he links back up with Royals boss Ruben Selles, who was previously the assistant manager at the Danish side

The 23-year-old holding midfielder has been with the Cherries since 2019 and has made 24 appearances- but failed to feature at all last campaign.

Sent out on two loans, the Republic of Ireland youngster played four times for Stoke City in the Championship and eight times for Charlton Athletic in League One.

Now deemed surplus to requirements at the Vitality Stadium, but with two years still on his contract, his future is uncertain

According to the Football Insider, both Reading and Birmingham City have ‘registered their interest’ in the former Under-21 international.

Ruben Selles has already signed midfielders in the transfer window, with Charlie Savage and Lewis Wing high-profile incomings last month

Kilkenny has been on the bench for Bournemouth’s opening two Premier League games against West Ham and Liverpool having impressed in pre-season for the Cherries.

The summer transfer window slams shut on Friday, September 1

It has been reported recently that goalkeeper Bouzanis has been made available for transfer alongside Andy Carroll, Nesta Guinness-Walker and Tom Holmes. Sales will hopefully free up space in the budget and in the squad for Ruben Selles to make new signings.

Now, reporter Witcoop has said that Australian shot-stopper Bouzanis is in discussions with two clubs over a potential exit

The two sides go unnamed but it is added that ex-Manchester United man Joel Pereira will be signed as his replacement. Claims of a move for the Portuguese free agent first emerged earlier this month and it seems a Bouzanis exit will pave the way for his arrival.

It frees up space in the squad and in the budget for a replacement while Bouzanis can look to find regular game time elsewhere. He’s got a good amount of experience to his name, spending time in the A-League alongside stints in League Two and League One.

Once a youngster on the books at Liverpool, Bouzanis will be keen to get back to starting regularly like he did with previous club Sutton United. He played 95 times for the League Two team, managed 39 clean sheets in 95 games across all competitions whole conceding a respectable 97 goals overall.
