West Ham make contact to sign £9.5 million Brazilian midfielder

West Ham United have reportedly made contact to sign Sao Paulo youngster Pablo Maia.

According to football journalist Jorge Nicola, West Ham have made a call to the agent of Pablo Maia about a potential summer transfer window move to the London Stadium.

The East London outfit have been strongly linked with a move to sign the 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder for quite some time now – most recently just last month.

It obvious for everyone to see that Hammers boss David Moyes needs to strengthen his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer, with Declan Rice set to join Arsenal

The addition of an established defensive midfielder will be an absolute must, but it seems as though Moyes is eyeing up a talented youngster as well…

Maia really is an exceptional talent, and he would be a really exciting addition to Moyes’s ranks this summer.

The Sao Paulo ace is a defensive midfielder and is extremely tenacious in the tackle. He has stamina, energy and dynamism in abundance and has really impressive technical ability as well – as you would expect for a Brazilian.

£9.5 million represents unbelievable value for Pablo Maia, and West Ham must not hesitate to bring him to East London for that kind of fee.

Judging by the latest claims, it seems as though David Moyes is doing his very best to make Jorge Nicola reckons that the Hammers have made initial contact with the representatives of the Sao Paulo midfielder. a Hammer before the end of the summer transfer window.
