Wolves register interest in signing ‘excellent’ Manchester United player on loan

As Wolves continue to look at option within the market that they can afford, an interest link has risen up.

According to reports from Uruguay, specifically from LR Uruguay, Wolves have registered their interest in a sought after Manchester United player.

It is said that Old Gold are one of four clubs keen on signing 21-year-old Uruguayan talent Facundo Pellistri on-loan.

Joining Wolves in the chase, Pellistri has other loan options from various Premier League clubs; Bournemouth, Luton and Burnley have all registered their interest.

The high level of Premier League interest is testament to the talent of this gem, who was praised during the World Cup as an ‘excellent‘ player.

United are said to be keen on loaning Pellistri to another Premier League side in order to give him playing time at the top level of football.

Pellistri decision could be made in a few days

According to journalist Fabian Bertolini, the wait for a decision on Pellistri’s future won’t be long with the next few days crucial.

He said that Facundo Pellistri could leave Old Trafford in the next few days, but his future would continue in the Premier League.

A move for Pellistri on-loan could come across initially as underwhelming for any Wolves fans reading this, but if you have watched him play you’ll understand why he could be a top acquisition.

The youngster has already made 12-caps for the Uruguayan senior team which demonstrates that he is far too good to be rotting on a bench.

He is also a player who makes a huge impact whenever he features.

Will this move happen?

Given the competition Wolves face, it could be a tough ask to secure this signing even on loan.

However from the list, Wolves are undoubtedly the biggest team and could offer the Uruguayan a chance to play in front of a packed Molineux every week.Facundo Pellistri sends message to Manchester United teammates as pre-season tour ends - Manchester Evening News

This along with being surrounded by top quality players, should give Wolves the edge in any race for his signature.

However it must be emphasised that anything could happen, we wouldn’t mind seeing him join the club, a top talent.
