BEAKING NEWS: Leicester City transfer talks ‘accelerated’ amid Chelsea decision

Leicester City have ‘accelerated’ talks over a move for Galatasaray winger Yunus Akgun, according to reports in Turkey.

It has previously been reported that City are keen on the 23-year-old this summer as Enzo Maresca looks to add to his wide options before the end of the transfer window. Some reports have also claimed that City have made a loan offer for the winger with an option to buy.

City have added Stephy Mavididi as a wide attacker this summer, and the former Arsenal man scored his first goal for the club by netting the winner in the 1-0 victory at Huddersfield Town on Saturday. The other flank has seen youngsters Kasey McAteer and Wanya Marcal-Madivadua make their league debuts for the club

According to Sports Digitale journalist Ertan Suzgun , City have ‘accelerated’ their contacts with the Turkish club for Akgun – and Chelsea could potentially help City complete a deal.

Sky Sports report that Chelsea have agreed a deal with Galatasaray for the transfer for Hakim Ziyech, with the Moroccan international undergoing a medical at the Turkish club.
