Aston Villa are keen on Roma defender Roger Ibanez, but the player in no hurry to sort out his future this summer at the moment.
Roma are aiming to bring in cash by selling a player and Ibanez has been picked as the man most likely to bring in a good amount.
Napoli are keen on the Brazilian, however rate Roma’s asking price of between €25m and €30m as too high.
Aston Villa are also in the mix for Ibanez, but according to Italian outlet Arena Napoli, the Brazilian is in no rush to sort out his future.
He is waiting to find out if a move will be in the offing and is aware he could switch clubs this summer, but there is yet to be a sense of urgency from his camp.
The defender recently married his partner, Bruna Kisner, and knows this summer’s transfer window could be a big one in his career.

His performances last season at Roma failed to catch the eye, but Ibanez’s age (24) and his status as a Brazil international guarantees that his value has remained high.
Roma have Ibanez under contract until the summer of 2025 and all eyes will be on when and if Aston Villa make their interest concrete by lodging a bid.
