Hull City
transfer bid for Crystal Palace winger linked with Leicester City
The Tigers are chasing the winger who has recently been linked with a move to the Tigers’ Championship rivals Leicester City
Hull City have lodged a bid for Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi as boss Liam Rosenior looks to beef up his attacking options ahead of the transfer window closing.
Rak-Sakyi spent last season on loan in League One with Charlton Athletic and bagged 15 goals in 40 appearances for the Addicks, and returned to Selhurst Park this summer.
His form at The Valley caught the eye of City earlier in the year and that interest has been rekindled with a bid lodged by the Championship outfit to the Premier League club.
The 20-year-old came through the youth system at Chelsea before moving to South London, joining the Eagles at the age of 16.

At the age of 19, the pacey winger joined Charlton on loan and scored on his debut in a 5-1 thrashing of Plymouth Argyle, and he continued to impress leading to a host of clubs trying to convince the Eagles to loan him out.
City’s bid has gone in and Rosenior is now awaiting a response from the Eagles and the Tigers are hopeful of getting a deal done.
Rak-Sakyi is a primary target on the left side of the pitch, and Rosenior has another key target on the opposite side of the pitch, with discussions with that player, whose identity has not yet been revealed, remain ongoing.
The Tigers hope to make five new signings before the end of the window, with two of those expected to be out wide, one in an attacking midfield position plus a defensive midfielder and goalkeeper.
City have held discussions with Manchester United over a loan move for goalkeeper Matěj Kovář, but it’s understood the Old Trafford club are only prepared to sell the in-demand Czech stopper.
