Iraola is hopeful Cherries can add to their squad ahead of the visit of the Hammers.
The club came close to signing Italy international Gaetano Castrovilli, only for him to fail a medical on Friday.
Since the end of last season, Cherries have added Justin Kluivert, Milos Kerkez and Andrei Radu to their squad, with the likes of Jefferson Lerma, Jack Stacey, Matias Vina and Mark Travers all departing.
The squad is stretched in certain areas, with Adam Smith, Ryan Fredericks and Marcus Tavernier among the players expected to miss the West Ham game due to injury.
After hosting David Moyes’s men, tricky looking fixtures against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur follow before the end of August.
ANDONI Iraola believes Cherries’ pre-season campaign went “quite well” as he looks to implement a new style of play on his squad.
The Spaniard replaced Gary O’Neil as boss over the summer and is into his sixth week working with the players.
Iraola has overseen five pre-season friendlies, which have resulted in wins over Hibernian, Southampton and Lorient, as well as defeats to Maccabi Tel Aviv and Atalanta.
The former Rayo Vallecano boss highlighted the clash at St Mary’s, a 3-2 win, as the most his side have looked how he would like them to.

Assessing the pre-season period as a whole, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “Obviously there are still things to improve and things to work on.
“But this is something normal, that will happen to every team. Especially the ones that have changed manager and some players.
“We know that we still have work to do, on the pitch and also in the market. But I think overall things went quite well.”
Asked if the players are adapting to his new methods as quickly as he hoped, Iraola said: “From game to game, things change.
“Overall, probably the game against Southampton was the one where we were closer to the style, even if we made more mistakes than on Saturday, probably.
“Against Lorient we were more solid, but I liked that game (at Southampton), because it is what we want to be.
“A high-pressing team, regain the ball high, have the chances.
“But probably next Saturday against West Ham for sure it will be a different game.
“West Ham are a different team, different tactics, a different style. We have to prepare this week.”
Cherries were beaten twice by West Ham last season without scoring, including a 4-0 home thumping as recently as April.
