Burnley have increased their offer to £12million for Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Premier League newcomers are in negotiations with Unai Emery’s side over a move for the youngster, who spent last season on loan at Norwich City and Middlesbrough.
Ramsey is the brother of Villa star Jacob but could depart his boyhood club this summer as Burnley work on bringing in new recruit this summer.

Vincent Kompany’s side have also asked about taking Manchester United left-back Alvaro Fernandez, 20, on loan for the coming season.
It remains to be seen as to whether they can get a deal done as they look to replace Ian Maatsen this summer.

Signing the Arsenal man has proven to be complicated though and Burnley are looking at other options, with Lommel’s Souza now on their radar as an alternative.

The 24-year-old Brazilian is also on Sheffield United’s radar, setting up a potential clash between the Blades and the Clarets for his services.
