We are now just less than a week away until the new Premier League season kicks off, with reigning champions Manchester City making the trip to promoted Burnley on August 11.

But clubs will have until September 1 to strengthen their squads in the summer transfer window.

Most of the top-flight clubs are still in need of reinforcements, Manchester United are preparing to unveil new £72million striker Rasmus Hojlund ahead of Saturday’s friendly with Lens  while Bayern Munich want a decision from Tottenham on their £86m bid for Harry Kane by this morning

With several deals this summer reliant on one another it’s shaping up to be a very intriguing close to the window.
