DEAL DONE : Burnley extends a super star contract by five years.

Burnley winger Anass Zaroury has put pen to paper over a new five-year deal at Turf Moor.

Zaroury joined the Clarets from Charleroi last summer and went on to score seven goals in 34 league appearances as Vincent Kompany’s side clinched the Championship title.

The 22-year-old was also called up to the Morocco squad for the World Cup in Qatar, coming off the bench during the 2-1 defeat against Croatia in the third place play-off.

Zaroury is delighted to have committed his long-term future to the Clarets ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign, which kicks-off against treble winners Manchester City on Friday, August 11.

“Since I came here, I got confidence from everyone at the club and it directly felt like home. Now to extend my contract is really positive and I’m just really pleased,” he said.

“Last season was the best season for me so far and for all of us here. It’s a great group of players, staff and we all work together to succeed.

“I’m really excited for this season ahead, every game is massive for us. I’ve really missed the fans at Turf Moor and I will see them all in one weekZAROURY RELISHING BRAZIL TEST | Burnley Football Club
