Wolves forward Fabio Silva has returned to the club following two loans, with his target to fill the striker void at the Molineux.
Both Raul Jimenez and Diego Costa are no longer at the club, therefore it could be time for Wolves’ 21-year-old to shine.
Silva returns to Wolves following his loan-filled season last year, where he spent time with both Anderlecht and PSV.
On these loan-moves he showcase some of the talent which warranted the £35million Wolves spent on him.
With Wolves in a time of need they need their star to catch fire more than ever before.
Silva on his return to Wolves
Silva has given an interview to club media in which he expressed his happiness to be back and talked about the ‘important’ fans.
“My confidence is more than 100 per cent because I feel happy, I feel the love from the fans and I feel the love from everyone with me in the training ground – the people that work on the kitchen, the people that work on everything, they show me love, they show me they want me here.”
He continued, “Today the fans sing for me and this is the most important for me. The fans are always with me, I love them, so I’m going to give 100 per cent for them and for this club.”
He concluded by stating, “so I’m very happy to be here.”
On Lopetegui
This summer has been the first time Silva has got the chance to work with and impress Julen Lopetegui.
He spoke about the Spaniard:
“He’s been good ever since I arrived to the squad out in Portugal in pre-season.
“We had our first conversation together, we spoke about many points, and we are working on the training ground to feel better as a team, to understand his ideas and what he wants from me in the game.”
He added that the whole team must improve and there is a lot of work to do.
“I think we have a lot of work to do, not just with me but with the whole team because I think we have a lot of conditions to do a great season. But we are all together, and this is the most important.”
