It has taken into the month of August for Tottenham to have found a breakthrough in talks to sign Wolfsburg center-back Micky Van de Ven after weeks of concrete talks.

Of course, the personal agreement between the Dutchmen and the club was done as Romano pointed out weeks ago, but it became apparent that the asking price from the German club was too much for Spurs to fork over at the time of discussion.

However, the Bundesliga side seemed to have their replacement in Rogerio from Sassuolo, giving the green light for Van de Ven to join Tottenham as soon as possible.

It took longer than anyone would have liked, especially for new manager Ange Postecoglou, but it seems that a new face will be coming in to help a defense that allowed the sixth most goals in the Premier League last season.

Now, it’s all about waiting for the iconic catchphrase of ‘Here We Go.’Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham have opened direct talks with Wolfsburg for Micky van de Ven - Football | Tribuna.com

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of 25-year-old Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.

According to a report by football.london, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Tosin Adarabioyo in their ranks. The 25-year-old defender has been on their radar for a while, and they are finally expected to make a move this week for his services.

Spurs priority heading into the transfer window was to sign a new defender as they struggled at the back last season. As a result, they wanted to provide their new manager Ange Postecoglou with enough options to work within the heart of the defence. But, Tottenham have not managed to sign a centre-back so far.

Spurs have been in talks to sign several defenders throughout the summer. But they have not managed to strike a deal with anyone. With all moves falling out, Tottenham have finally decided to place a bid for the services of the 25-year-old Fulham defender

Adarabioyo has entered the final year of his contract at Fulham, and he is open to the idea of joining Spurs. While the Cottagers would love to have him in their ranks, they are likely to let him leave for the right fee rather than risk losing out on him for free next summer.
