Arne Slot might not be reunited with Feyenoord star at Liverpool

As reported by French outlet Foot Mercato, Feyenoord star, Lutsharel Geertruida is interested in moving to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, the Dutch defender came to life under Liverpool manager, Arne Slot last season. Liverpool are also interested and could try and reunite the two.

The 23-year-old made 47 appearances for Feyenoord last season. He was a key part of the defence and spent most of his time playing as an RB. Apart from being a solid force on defence, Geertruida also proved to be a massive threat in the final third of the pitch.

He operates efficiently and often gets into threatening positions for the team. Last season he recorded a total of nine goals and five assists for the Dutch side. The 23-year-old only has a year left on his deal with the Dutch giants. So, Feyenoord could be forced to sell him this summer to avoid a free transfer.

There has also been some talk suggesting that PSG have tabled a bid for the 23-year-old already, Moreover, the report from Foot Mercato also claims that Geertruida is keen on a move to France. So, time is running out for Liverpool to come in and try to reunite the player with Slot.

Geertruida is currently playing for the Netherlands at this year’s Euros. So, there is still some time left before a final deal can be done for him. This gives Liverpool the perfect window of opportunity to try and bring Geertruida to Anfield this summer.
