Newcastle agrees a 3years deal with a 26-year-old that will keep him on Tyneside until 2027

Some bold claims have emerged from journalist Daniele Longo, who reports that Lloyd Kelly to Newcastle is a ‘done deal’ and some a promising update on Tosin Adarabioyo.

The Italian reporter was one of the first to reveal that we’d beaten AC Milan to a deal for Sven Botman two years ago and is now claiming that Kelly has agreed a three-year deal that will keep him on Tyneside until 2027 as he prepares to leave Bournemouth as a free agent.

On Adarabioyo, Longo responded to a Newcastle fan asking for an update on the fellow out-of-contract defender. His tweet said ‘Tosin soon’, suggesting we may fight off competition from Chelsea and Man Utd to also sign the 26-year-old.

Back to Kelly, it really does seem a matter of when not if he signs at St James’ Park, allowing him to be reunited with Eddie Howe; the manager who brought him from Bristol City to Bournemouth five years ago
