Although head coach Mike Tomlin has not led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a losing season, the team may still remove him after the 2024 campaign. The Steelers’ 2023 campaign was not nearly as successful as their record, going 9-2 in one-score games—a performance that is wholly unsustainable over an extended period of time. Early in the offseason, there were rumours that head coach Mike Tomlin would decide to resign, but he will be back with the Steelers for his 17th and potentially last season.

The NFL broadcaster made a suggestion that Pittsburgh would fire Mike Tomlin after the season in a recent episode of The Colin Cowherd Podcast. He notably brought up the Steelers’ difficult schedule.

“Have you seen Pittsburgh’s last six QB opponents? Lamar Jackson, Burrow, Deshaun Watson, Jalen Hurts, Mahomes, and Burrow once more. Mike Tomlin will be featured on network television.
