This NFL offseason, Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers experienced a great deal of speculation. Although many predicted that the two sides would split apart, it didn’t actually happen. Rather, Tomlin is getting ready to guide the squad into yet another campaign.
Tomlin has been among the NFL’s most successful coaches in history over the years. He has never, in fact, guided the Steelers to a losing campaign.
Considering this, pundits have already begun speculating about Tomlin’s potential departure from the Steelers following the 2024 NFL season.
It appears that Mike Tomlin will be fired by the Pittsburgh Steelers following the 2024 season.
Sports expert Colin Cowherd made an odd forecast, implying that Tomlin would be let go by the Steelers following the 2024 NFL season.
“Have you seen Pittsburgh’s last six QB opponents? Burrow, [Patrick] Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Jalen Hurts, and [Joe] Burrow. Mike Tomlin will appear on a network television program.
It’s a little ambitious to make that kind of projection based only on the last six games of a 17-game season. It’s obvious from Cowherd’s comments that he believes the Pittsburgh Steelers will have a difficult season this year. But there’s also a big mistake with the forecast that Tomlin is “going to be on a network broadcasting.”
In no time, Tomlin would be picked up by another team if the Steelers were to let him go. He is unquestionably among the NFL’s greatest coaches.
The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have progressed from the previous campaign. For those who don’t recall, Tomlin had extremely subpar quarterbacking to lead the team to the playoffs. Pittsburgh improved throughout the off-season.
Though obviously the season must go on and anything may happen, Tomlin has a far superior roster than he did in 2023 and is in a much better position. It makes no sense to make these kinds of predictions ahead of time for the season. It appears to be attempting to coerce individuals into clicking on it.How Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers begin their 2024 campaign will be interesting to watch. They hope that with so many new faces on the roster, they can all gel soon. The playoffs are always a very real possibility with Tomlin leading the way.
