Markus Bailey, a former linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals, was signed by the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday for a one-year contract.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network broke the initial news of the transaction.Bailey was mostly utilised as a special team player during his four-year (60 game) tenure in Cincinnati; he never saw more than 24% of available defensive snaps in a single season. Conversely, throughout the previous four years, he recorded at least 43% of special teams reps.
In the 6-foot, 235-pounder’s final season as a Bengal, Bailey recorded 10 tackles across 17 games played.
