BirminghamLive brings you Aston Villa news as the team confirms a massive project to enhance its product sales.

As renovations to Villa Park and its environs continue, Aston Villa supporters may notice some changes around the stadium on Monday night and at the beginning of the following season.

Back in December, Chris Heck, the club’s president of commercial operations, announced that he was abandoning his ambitions to increase Villa Park’s capacity to 50,000. Since the North Stand was scheduled to be removed in June, Villa will now play in front of a full house instead of the anticipated 36,000 fans as the plan created by former CEO Christian Purlow was abandoned. While Villa has not officially disclosed his new plans to expand, Heck has verified a number of aspects of his proposal, including upgrades to the goods and hospitality.

We are going to perform some work, he clarified to Villa TV. at addition to installing new seats and rail seating [at the Holte End], we have no plans to alter any banners or make any other changes aside from minor cleanups.

“We’re going to keep tidying it up and redesigning all of our premium seating over the course of the next two summers. We are constructing a pre- and post-game concert venue, and we will have an”I have watched the Holte End every single game and it is truly extraordinary,” Heck continued. I’ve learnt to leave it alone, which is what makes Villa Park so distinct and unique because of what they contribute to the area.

“So, we haven’t discussed moving in that conversation. Nothing is scheduled, and I don’t think I’ll see it in my lifetime. The team is soon to reveal a new crest and a new clothing agreement with Adidas. The new club emblem is being painted on the wall of the former Stumps building off Witton Lane, as supporters have seen.

Further along the wall is an outline of the Adidas emblem, with the word ‘prepared’ displayed in block capital letters.

After Monday night’s Premier League match against Liverpool, Villa has also announced that they will be closing their club store “to allow a considerable schedule of works to commence ahead of a multi-million-pound project that will transform our club store and double its size.”
