With an incredible £43 million release clause, Vitor Roque is a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, and they now have another chance to sign him. The possibility that the Barcelona striker will become available has the Premier League teams on high alert.

The 19-year-old Brazilian made the switch from Athletico Paranaense to the Catalan giants in January following an agreement struck by Tottenham’s sharp signing as he moves to Hotspurs.

However, because Robert Lewandowski is still Xavi’s favoured attacker, Roque—who now has an incredible £430 million release clause—has had trouble getting playing time in La Liga.

The young striker’s agent, Andre Cury, blasted Xavi’s handling of the player earlier this week and declared that his client would not be moving out on loan the following season. He intends to speak with Barcelona about the problem.

Spurs even made a £34.5 million offer for Roque last year, but Barcelona outbid them.

After moving from South America, the Brazil international has made 13 appearances for Barcelona and scored two goals.

Roque had already piqued the interest of Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal. As they scan the transfer market for a new striker, the four teams can become once again interested in one another.
